Capstone and Directing II Production Classes Only

  1. Location Requests

After your project has been greenlit, if your production requires on-campus locations, you must complete the first (before submitting the Production Request Form). Once all of your locations have been secured/approved, you may proceed to step 2:

  1. Production Requests

While you are in pre-production and planning ahead, you may want to consider obtaining insurance for rented gear; otherwise you must complete the  at least two weeks prior to your scheduled filming days, but after your locations have been secured.

  1. Equipment Requests

In order to reserve the gear you need:

  1. You must have secured your locations via the Location Request Form (if filming on campus) and had the D2 Production Request Form approved FIRST, before submitting the .
  2. All requests must be made at least seven (7) days ahead of requested pickup time.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email once your request is approved.
  1. Documentation Verification

As soon as your Equipment Request has been approved, you may submit your Cast & Crew List, Day 1 Call Sheet, and Filming Schedule (three separate documents, preferably all in .pdf format); however, if you do not submit all three documents and receive approval from your professor at least 24 hours before the approved check-out time, your production may be in danger of postponement or cancellation altogether. Document submission and approval will transpire via the .

Directing I Production Class Only

  1. Production Requests

Once your project has been Greenlit and you have secured your locations, you must complete the  at least one week prior to the first scheduled filming day.

In order to reserve the equipment package provided to you by your professor:

  1. You must have secured your locations and had the D1 Production Request Form approved first, before submitting the .
  2. All requests (including check-out and check-in times) must be made at least 48 hours ahead of requested pickup time.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email once your request is approved.
