Overview
Jason Miller joined 天美社区 in Fall of 2022 after earning his Ph.D. in Social Psychology, with a minor emphasis on quantitative research methods, from the University of Kansas in the spring of that year. Jason's Ph.D. research investigated how the social acceptability of prejudices change throughout time, and how these ideas can be used to reduce prejudice expression.
Jason's current research focuses on studying culturally relevant social issues. He is currently working with several undergraduate student mentees studying a variety of current social issues. Jason is a member of several professional psychological associations, including the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, Social and Personality Psychology Society, the American Psychological Association, and Southeastern Psychological Association. He is also involved in student organizations. Jason currently serves as the faculty supervisor for the Psychology club, and the Men's Soccer Club.
